Am I Sure?

Sitting in my room in Indonesia with the click of my mouse I signed away my life for one month. I booked a one month stay at the Krabi Tropical Beach Resort. What did I do? Was I sure about this? Not at all. Have you ever gone somewhere, done something, or eaten something and thought to yourself that was great, but then the next time you realized you were just starving or it wasn't as great as you remembered? Well I was afraid of that here in Krabi. What if my stay last time just happened to be the perfect week. Maybe the stars were aligned just right and that is why everything was so great last time. What if I get here this time and after 2 days I am bored out of my mind? After all there is not a whole lot to do here and I have done most of it already unless you want to spend some serious cash. SO here I was with a one month commitment and a little unsure about my decision making skills. Well all of my fears are gone now. I love this place. From the moment I got here I felt welcomed. I was greeted with smiles. Everyone was so happy to see me again and their eyes would light up when I told them I was here for one month. In fact a few of the staffers here even had to repeat what I said in disbelief. As if they weren't understanding what I was saying. Like they were lost in translation. So I would say yes one month, 30 days and they would just smile. I have only been here for 36 hours now and already I have had many conversations with the staff. They are all asking my name (hopefully I can remeber there names - I know a few of them). Then a short while later I hear my named being said in the kitchen. It is just a good feeling being here. It really does feel like home away from home. Today after lunch they treated me to a couple local desserts. One was like a rice cake (the cripsy ones also known as popcorn cakes) except it was purple. The other was the shape of a taco shell, but it was made out of glass noodles that were fried and sweetened with sugar. Unfortunately I did not have my camera so next time hopefully. It has been raining on and off all day (actually yesterday too). I guess that is why they call it the rainyy season. Being that I have seen almost everything in the area I have no need to run around and play tourist. I am perfectly fine staying around the hotel reading, surfing the internet, eating, swimming, or watching TV. I do hope there are a few sunny days so I can get out a little bit, but it will not be the end of my world if I can't. I will make the best of whatever nature brings to me. Like today while it was raining I cut my hair and shaved after a few weeks of letting my hair grow. When the rain stopped for a little bit I went to the store to buy a few snacks to have on hand in case I get hungry or thirsty. So I will just let nature plan my days for me. When it is nicer I will go out and when it is not so nice I will find something to do inside (which won't be that hard to do). Like I said I have only been here 36 hours and already I feel relaxed like I am at home.
