I just got approved for my employment pass.  I needed to get this before I could apply for my 1 year work visa.  So next week I should get the pass in the mail and then I can continue working on my visa.  I am just happy I passed the first step and I am one step closer to getting my visa.  Other than that it has been a normal week.  I saw a few movies.  The Adjustment Bureau is very good, I Am Number Four is okay, and Red Riding Hood is kind of boring.  I am hoping to see Rango and Gnomeo And Juliet next week.I have started a consistent workout routine which is good because I haven't been working out regularly.  I also discovered the best milk tea here in Singapore.  I swear I could drink them all day long.  Well I feel like I am starting to settle in here.  I am really learning the city and how to get to different places and where to find things.  I am becoming a decent cook as I cook dinner every night during the week.  Of course I am just basing that opinion on the fact that Ronna hasn't died yet from my cooking (or even thrown up).  I always joke around that I am the unappreciated housewife and she is the husband because she goes to work all day and I stay home and cook and clean.  I am very excited as exactly one month from today my first group of visitors from home will be arriving.  In addition to their arrival, they are bringing along with them my brand new Nintendo 3DS and a couple of games.  I have been missing my TV and videogames.  At least now I will have some videogames to keep me busy.  I am also waiting for the new iPad (iPad 2) to be released here in Singapore as I have a $500sgd voucher to buy one.  Unfortunately there is no news on when it will be released here, but the 3DS should help distract me until it does.  Sorry I have no pictures.  I haven't really done anything picture or blog worthy.  I am just living normal life for the moment.  But I am working on the pictures for my food blog which I plan to do one day.  I just need to start taking pictures.  Oh and we found an apartment.  Actually we are just extending our lease at the current place as it is in a great location, has a good price, and it's bigger than most comparable apartments.  I am so glad the apartment searching is over.  I will be moving to a different room in the apartment at the end of the month.  I hope all is good for you at home and I'll blog again next week.
