So while the girls were visiting we took a long weekend trip to Tioman Island in Malaysia.  Tioman is a small tropical island off the southeast coast of mainland Malaysia.  It was a about a 4 hour bus ride followed by a 1.5 hour ferry ride.  Here is what the ferry looked like.



I rented the entire top floor of this chalet.



Our room was on the left and the girls room was on the right.  The resort was surrounded by rainforest and beaches.



As you can see the resort was very pretty.  There was a golf course, spa, dive center, and anything else you needed or wanted.  I actually went to the spa with Ronna one day and got my first spa treatments.  It was actually kind of nice.  Especially since I am always oily from the humidity over here.  The only bad thing was the see through disposable underwear they give you to wear.  I mean seriously couldn't the underwear have been white or something.  Oh well.  We definitely spent some time at the beach.  Here are the girls at the water.



The girls spent a good amount of time laying out poolside.



The pool was beautiful and even had a couple of slides and a swim up bar.



Unfortunately the slides were for kids only, but the pool bar came in handy for some of us.  The hotel had a delicious breakfast buffet, but the other food was just okay.  So we ate dinner out at the beachside Chinese seafood resto in front of the resort.  Everyone except me fell in love with the bbq stingray.



I have had stingray before and this one was better, but I am still not a fan of seafood.  But the girls loved it.  And finally we have a nice picture of a full moon over the resort.



We also encountered some monkeys and had a snorkel trip while there.  It was a fun weekend getaway.
