Tonight Ronna made my favorite Filipino dish for my birthday dinner, Calderetta.


 
Calderetta reminds me a lot of bistek ranchero.  It is stewed beef in a tomato based sauce with potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers.  It is usually served over rice.  And all the housemates were off tonight so they were able to eat dinner with us.  Here is Ronna cooking the calderetta.



Thank you baby for a wonderful birthday with lots of wonderful meals and surprises.  I love you sooooooooo much.  This was truly the best birthday ever and I can wait to have many more with you.  Mahal na mahal kita maganda.
