Every Sunday my friend and his family get together for lunch.  This Sunday was not different for them except I would be joining in.  First we got up and had some coffee and bread while catching up with each other.  We watched the football (soccer) highlights from yesterdays league games.  I just love being in a place where football is important and gets the coverage it deserves.  I wish we had more football coverage in America.  After laying around in the morning we got up and went to my friend's sisters house.  Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures, but I will be there again next Sunday so I will make sure to get pictures next time.  Anyways, we had a delicious traditional lunch of lamb curry, cucumber salad, vegetables, and fried chicken.  It was all really, really good.  After that we sat around and talked some more and then we watched a movie on television.  I felt like I was part of their every Sunday tradition.  It was nice and refreshing to feel this way when I have been away from home for so long.  I used to do the same things at home with my family.  Around 3pm we left to do a little grocery shopping.  I can't believe how expensive things are here.  I think they are more expensive than in America.  Finally, we arrived home to rest for awhile.  Later on my friend and I will be going to watch a football game with some of his friends.  He is a big Liverpool fan and they are playing Manchester United tonight.  So it is a big game for him.  Tomorrow my friend took the day off so I promise to have some pictures for you when I blog tomorrow.  I am not sure what are going to do yet.
