I just finished writing this blog 2 times and now this is the 3rd time.  The website to make the blog keeps crashig on me and I have to start over.  So the blog keeps getting shorter and shorter.  Here are some views from my friends place.



That was a jungle/mountain view.  This is the slight ocean view they have.



Two days ago we watched the Liverpool Vs Manchester United Football game.  My friend is a big Liverpool fan.



Even though Liverpool lost 3-2 we had a lot of fun.  We had a delicious late night meal of curries, chicken, fried bird, squid, naan, roti canai (like a tortilla).



Here is the naan  Since Indians eat with their hands the naan is used to scoop up food.



The morning after the game we drove around the north side of the island since my friend lives on the south side.  Here is a typical beach in the north.



Here is a beachside temple which means a lot to my friend.



He likes this temple because one time when he was unemployed he gave to this temple and played the Indian drums to the god of the temple.  Next thing you know his phone is ringing and he is being offered a job.  He felt like the god of the temple was taking care of him.  After showing me this temple we went to a nature park and walked along a river/waterfall.



After the park we had a nice lunch.  I had chicken curry mixed with naan, but it was a little different than normal as they cut everything up into small pieces.



It was very good.  I am really enjoying the local food.  They make fun of me here because last time I was here 10 years ago I only ate pizza.  They are really enjoying the fact that I am eating all the food now and so am I.
