Following lunch today I relaxed in the jacuzzi.  After awhile I could see the storm clouds rolling in.  I wasn't ready to get out yet so I gambled and stay in the jaccuzi.  Then when I thought the clouds couldn't get any more evil looking I headed in.  Just in time too as it started to rain heavily before I even got to my room.  Then within minutes the lightning and thunder rolled in.  It was quite a storm that last most of the night.  I snuck out to the front restaurant during the storm and had some chicken fried rice for dinner.  While sitting there I saw a frog hop across the restaurant.  I love being in a place where you can eat dinner and see local wildlife at the same time.  After dinner I ended up helping May (the security guard's daughter) practice writing and speaking English.



We worked on her ABC's and 123's for about an hour.  May is just the sweetest and cutest little thing.  She is not very shy and she loves school.  Everynight when I see her she is writing, reading, drawing, or doing schoolwork with the owner and her school is on break right now.  I have never seen someone so interested in learning and she is only 7 years old.  We have been practicing her 123's for a few days now and she can count from 1-10, but she always forgets 8.  Tonight she finally got it.  When we were done she then tried to teach me some words in Thai.  It was just a nice quiet night inside during a wet and wild storm outside.
