Special Goodbye Breakfast

When I woke up today I was treated to a special goodbye breakfast. I was made homemade dosai (a very thin bread - like a crepe). I had one plain one with vegetable curry and one with egg, butter, and sugar.

The egg one was my favorite. It was kind of like an Indian pancake. Here is what it looks like when it is done.

After breakfast my friend's work was having a family day where they give tours of the place and have tons of free food, games, etc. My friend works at Bosch in the power tool assembly area. So I got to see how drills and stuff are made. It was very interesting. It was nice to see a big company give a little back especially since everyone works so hard over there. 12 hours days are very common. In fact my friend works 6 days a week for 12 hours a day. It was the least the compnmay could do. In the afternoon I had a train to catch.

I took the train from Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur (KL). It was about 6.5 hours long. There was some very beautiful jungle and mountain scenery along the way. The only problem was that it was freezing on the train. I think the AC was on steriods. Now I have a bit of a sore throat. When I finally got off the train in KL I had to get on another cold train to the airport and then I got to sleep in the cold airport. So basically I was freezing all afternoon and night yesterday.
