The Test

This week has been difficult for my friends as most of them have been sick including the baby. I have not taken too many pictures of the baby (or anyone) yet because I am waiting for them to get better. Here is one of the few pictures of my friend's daughter Sanju (1 years old).

She loves Mickey as you can see in the background. So last night my friend and I went for dinner in Georgetown (the main city) which is about 30 minutes away from his home. Last time I came here 10 years ago I pretty much only ate pizza. Now I am eating anything that is put in front of me. So now I think they are testing me to see how far I will go. For dinner my friend wanted me to try BBQ stingray.

It was not bad. The sauce was good, but it was weird because it has lots of little bones in it and you just eat them too. I am not a fish eater so I am not use to eating bones at all. I also had some Chinese noodles and we shared a local appetizer dish of fried pawn cakes, chicken and pork sausages.

It was good too. To get all this we went to something they call a cantin which is basically a food court.

This cantin specialized in Chinese food so it had all kinds of different Chinese food. Each stall specialized in a different type of food. After dinner we drove around Georgetown a little and then back home. So if they are testing me with what food I will eat I passed tonight's test, but it is getting weirder and weirder with each meal. I think they are doing this on purpose. They are really enjoying me trying all the food I would not eat last time.
