What A Wonderful Day!

Today was such a great and relaxing day. After checking into heaven I had a wondeful lunch. Then I watched some American television. Next I relaxed in the ocean front jacuzzi. There was a beautiful sunset tonight and it created a nice red sky. In this picture which I took from the balcony of my room you can see the red in the sky just above the karst mountains.

I also got to see some local wildlife today at the hotel. This interesting bug was on the screen door of my balcony.

I bet it can blend into the jungle environment perfectly. I also found out that I am sharing my room with a couple of geckos. I like this picture of this gecko on my wall because you can see its eyes and it looks like it is looking right at you. Everytime I hear them bark it reminds me of living in Hawaii.

After playing with my new friends I got cleaned up and had another wonderful meal at the hotel. I thought I was alone here at the hotel, which only has 15 rooms, but I ran into a couple from France when I went to have dinner. For dinner I had Pad Se Eiw which is a broad noodle dish. It was very, very good.

For dessert I had crepes with nutella. They were also very delicious.

This is place is absolutely wonderful. The staff her at the hotel is nice and friendly. I know I will come back here again one day. I can't figure out which place I like the best so far. It is either Yangshuo, China or Krabi, Thailand. That may be the million dollar question for me right now. From what I have gathered I like small touristy towns where they speak some English and there is beautiful surroundings. I have not really enjoyed any of the megatourist spots. I think that as long as I keep finding these little gems I will be very happy.
